Cascadia Wildlands is a nonprofit conservation organization born out of the forest defense movements in the 1990s. Their mission includes defending and restoring Cascadia’s wild ecosystems in the forests, in the courts, and in the streets.
Based in Eugene, CW works hard to protect the environment across the Cascadia bioregion extending along the Pacific Coast from northern California to south-central Alaska and inland to the Continental Divide.
A small survey of some of Cascadia Wildlands' many historic victories have occured in battles over Warner Creek, Elliott State Forest, Jordan Cove, in addition to the critical protections won for Mature and Old-growth Forests, wild salmon, and grey wolves.
